The Laser Treatment Clinic offers industry leading treatment for acne scar concerns with Marine Boost treatment. The Marine Boost treatment consist of Advanced peel/Medical Microdermabrasion treatment with Marine Boost skincare. Y0ur skin will first be prepared with Marine Boost skincare. This sophisticated technology involves an advanced form of deeper skin exfoliation, which encourages skin rejuvenation, over the acne scarred skin which removes the effected superficial layers from the epidermis level, revealing the new skin beneath. You should feel no more than a sharp scratching sensation. The Laser Ultrasonic is then applied, accelerating the micro-circulation process, which helps to raise the active metabolism of the skin cells. The skin rejuvenates faster stimulating fresh young skin cells promoting new collagen growth, and the collagen remodels for smoother, firmer more even skin texture.
After the treatment, the treated area may have some blood spotting, and these may take about a week to heal. Inflammation (active redness) is a consequence of fibroblast collagen resulting in more elastic skin. Your treatment will finish with an application of the Marine Boost skincare. We highly recommend you use Marine Boost skincare during and after you complete your treatments to achieve and maintain optimum results. The advantage of this treatment is that it works in harmony with the skin, and respects the biological structure of the skin tissue and offers a safe alternative to harsh chemical peels and strong surgical lasers. Although it is very rare you may experience reactions such as temporary pigmentation or other similar reactions during the course of your treatment and for some time afterwards. With repeated treatments you will notice a steady improvement in the skin appearance. The frequency of treatment is every 2 to 4 weeks.
Marine Boost treatment is usually very effective and can achieve in most cases a dramatic smoothing of the acne scarred skin within the first few treatments. We have found that on average most people require between 6 to 12 treatments for the optimum results however the results are individual in each case as everyone responds differently.
